The internet hated the Luce, Ferrari’s first EV. Ugly, they said. A betrayal. And then the buyers showed up anyway. Ferrari says it already hit its full 2026 sales target for the car — in about two months. So much for the outrage.
Here’s the reality check. Twitter comments and order books are two different planets. The people yelling online weren’t the people writing deposit checks. Ferrari’s CEO says he would change nothing about the launch. Easy to say when the car’s sold out. Chances are the loudest opinion in the room is the one with the least money behind it.
The internet hated the Luce. Ferrari sold out its 2026 run in two months anyway.
That’s the whole lesson. Loud comment sections aren’t buyers. The people typing “ruined the brand” were never writing a $500K check.
Ferrari knows exactly who it’s selling to. And it isn’t you or me.
